Platt Perspective on Business and Technology

This blog at 100 postings plus this one

Posted in blogs and marketing by Timothy Platt on December 1, 2009

I just uploaded posting number 100 with Part 25 in my Social Networking and Job Search series and I currently have about a dozen next postings planned for adding to the mix.

• I have several more topic-specific postings in mind for that series and expect to come up with more to add as well.
• Judging from email and other feedback I have received there has been interest shown in my November 27 posting for delving a bit into search engine optimization and search engine marketing (SEO/SEM) and social networking. I am going to follow up on that with more postings in this area. There is a lot to say about these rapidly changing but always important aspects of the online experience.
• I did not say what I was going to post on next in my entry – number 16 in Business and Convergent Technologies series. Quite simply, I had two possibilities in mind and was not sure which I would post on first and which next after that. I have decided on that and will be posting a final(?) entry for the series on the economics of information as it is developing in this all the time, everywhere ubiquitous computing and communications context. I will then shift gears and look at the tremendous and growing range of special function and demographic-oriented and supportive apps and social networking and other sites out there.
• I am going to add to my directory pages for organizing easier access to series of postings and postings on connected topics.

Thank you for your kind words. The only thing I ask is that anyone who wishes to republish from what I post here also offer links back to this blog. First, this helps me with my viral marketing, and enriches the feedback I get which I add positively influences my ongoing content. I have to add that I also find it very rewarding to know others are reading and even enjoying some of what I write and on an ongoing basis. I always seem to be writing the posting of today in a larger context, in a series and as a part of a larger conceptual structure – this stuff really does all fit together to tell a single larger story.
